RAF_gti 0 Posted March 21, 2007 Hi I have the two connector's just lying about in the bay, just behind the NS headlamp, not a scooby what they are for as there is nothing obvious they plug into! Everything on the car works which I'm not sure is a good sign or not! Also, where is the main earthing point? I have an earth problem with my driving lamps and I am buggered if I can find the main block....help! thanks Steve
inferno 1 Posted March 21, 2007 the 2pin red one is used on aircon models to switch the fans on, the 3 wire brown one is redundant but the wires can be shorted to switch the fans on iirc, and one of the main earth points is visible in the pic with all the green n yellow wires going in it, its a bank of male conectors bolted to the front panel. theres one the other side too. Miles 331 1 Cars Posted March 22, 2007 Not just A/C model's, Any twin fan petrol model for sure has that fitted as it has another relay box mounted on the slam panel/power steering mount I bet the earth point's will be coroded up, best way to overcome this is just find a 205 being scraped and nick the earth point's bolted under the dash and replace them, The connectors tend to last slightly longer.
