welshpug 1,657 Posted March 20, 2007 the first pin on the rad switch activated by heated coolant sends current to the fan via that resistor, hence the lower speed, when the second one comes on it goes straight to the fan/s. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
GLPoomobile 958 Posted March 21, 2007 And make sure you put it back somewhere where it won't touch other wires as it will melt em. If you are giong to cable tie it back in place, don't put the tie around the metal body of the resister, as again it will melt it (unless you use metal tie wraps) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
