Ryan 99 Posted March 19, 2007 The speedo is matched to the size of wheels/tyres you use. So if you're using the 1.6 wheels then keep the GTI speedo and swap over the plastic drive gears - one on the end of the speedo cable, and one behind the cover on the end of the gearbox where the driveshaft goes through.
