swordfish210 20 Posted March 18, 2007 OK, i'v got a subframe now, it came with the ARB, drop links, and a steering rack, i also have some struts and springs from a 1.9 GTI. The guy i bought the subframe from also gave me the discs that were fitted to it (1.9 GTI vented discs) so am i right in saying thet all i need now is some 1.6 GTI bendix calipers and i will have everything i need to do the swap. Hard to say from a picture but the pad guide doesn't look wide enough for the vented discs with the piston pushed that far back imo. Might just be a bad picture though. Get the seller to check the bleed nipples are Ok though before/ if you bid, if they shear off on him then at least you've saved buying them for it to happen to you. Graham.
