Jrod 7 Posted March 15, 2007 (edited) Looking for a stud conversion and these are the cheapest I've seen. *REMOVED LINK* Would you trust them not to snap? Also can anyone else recommend any other places to get them (where I won't wabout them being made of cheese) EDIT: ebay link removed, they shouldn't be posted anywhere but off topics. Also the nuts in that auction are the wrong type for 205 GTIs Edited March 16, 2007 by jackherer
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted March 15, 2007 Graham did a group buy a while back from Grayston Engineering ( http://www.graystonengineering.com/ ) as they make most of the studs for various companies to sell, The Pug Nut is the most expensive (Sods law). If there's enough intrest I could get another one started
jackherer 543 Posted March 16, 2007 The nuts in the ebay auction that was posted are 60 degree taper which wont fit 205 GTI wheels. You need more expensive ones with flat washers. I've got studs from the group buy Graham arranged on two cars and they are fine, however I got a third Graystone kit a while after that and I've had constant trouble with the nuts shearing so I suspect they changed the material or something.
