Clapshot 0 Posted March 13, 2007 How do people find the Gaz suspension kit for the 205? I've read through searching that people find them good for the price but what i'm wondering is how people find them for comfort on the road. I used to have a 205 with spax on the front and koni's on the back so that's what i would be used to. I wouldn't like it to be much harder on the road as i would be using it only as a road car and not a track car, Cheers for any info
taylorspug 7 Posted March 13, 2007 From what ive seen they come with springs that are too stiff for comfortable road driving (usually around 275lbs). Get some 180lb springs and they would be much improved.

Get some 180lb springs and they would be much improved. The coilovers are track biased - so if you want road comfort ask for softer springs to be supplied. The damper kits are road biased - and are absolutely fine, even for commuting.
Clapshot 0 Posted March 14, 2007 I've seen a car with Eibach springs and the 23mm torsion bars which i'm interested in but just wondering how good a road car it is.
hodgy 0 Posted March 16, 2007 my GAZ adjustables are fine for the road on soft but if you set them to solid its like have no shock absorbers at all and the car skips round bends. mine cost £270 with springs which i didnt think was too bad value
