Rik 0 Posted March 13, 2007 Any one had a go at making some? Would there be much use? Does any one possibly have the dimensions of the wishbone bushes? Cheers Rik
PsychoSimon 0 Posted March 13, 2007 i think they wouldn't last too long. if you were to hit a pothole or somthing you would damage the bushes quite easily in my opninion
Edp 67 3 Cars Posted March 13, 2007 Don't bother. Get down to Peugeot and get yourself a kit which includes both bushes and bolts for one wishbone. Pug bushes are the best, I have a set of poly things on mine at the moment and they creak like f***.

205turbo 32 2 Cars Posted March 13, 2007 the Grp A 205 we sponsor has them on, there very harsh, If its a out and out track car then they are ok, was going to put a set on my 205 last week but chicken out when Anthony said his polyurethane ones were stiff so i went for the poly-sport ones,

pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted March 13, 2007 Get down to Peugeot and get yourself a kit which includes both bushes and bolts for one wishbone. I collected two of these kits yesterday, they contain all the bolts & bushes for both wishbones not just one for £15 + vat. Even the Pug parts guy was laughing because the individual Pug bushes cost approx £8 each without the bolts. Pug Part number is 3599 07. Graham.
Rik 0 Posted March 14, 2007 17.74 in total Graham? I'm guessing it depends on the type of nylon used, even Acetal can be used, much like that of when i made some rear mounts, its a stronger material and holds the stress better....
pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted March 14, 2007 17.74 in total Graham? Book price is £15.10 + vat but I got two sets for just over £32 with a small discount. Bargain. Graham.
Turbo7379 3 Posted March 15, 2007 Graham - just want to check . Am I right in thinking that one of the 3599 07 kits contains 4 bushings + 4 nuts n bolts , enough for 2 wishbones ?

Edp 67 3 Cars Posted March 16, 2007 For pug that is very good value!
Rupertfinch 6 Posted March 20, 2007 Excuse thickness of this question - but will pug kit 359907 do both n/s and o/s wishbones? Or do I need to buy 2 kits to do both wishbones? I have one kit already but haven't quite got round to fitting them - and don't want to have the embarrassment of getting ramp time (i reckon I can have them out and new ones fitted in under 2 weeks!), a big ass oxy torch and then looking like a prat as I run out of bushes. Ta much
Rupertfinch 6 Posted March 20, 2007 Don't respond to the above - I am clearly retarded! If I had read the post after having morning coffee I would have realised that this question has already been answered. Shame on me.
