Removing Crank With Engine In Car

as above, is it possible to remove tha crank with the engine still in the car?

yes when the gearbox is off.....

 

but in fact it is easier to take the whole engine out and give it good service while you are at it.

thanks for the reply. the gearbox and clutch were my main concerns. i'm going to wait till the engine comes out next week, when it will be used to supplement the engine that is getting rebuilt. thanks again.
