Msns Extra V3 Ignition Map Using Tps Only

I'm just starting to set up the MS on my S16 engine fitted with R1 carbs (for the time being) and wasted spark coil pack. I was proposing to simply use the R1 TPS with the std crank sensor and 60/2 wheel, to avoid rigging up the MAP sensor pipework into the ported manifold.

 

Problem is that all the ignition base maps I've seen are in Kpa / rev, whereas I need it to be in throttle opening (TPS) / rev. This is only for race use, so I assume that the 70% - 100% throttle (and tickover) would be the map figures of most relevance.

 

Any reasonable base maps or other comments would be gratefully received.

Has no-one mapped their ignition using TPS instead of MAP ? Is there a formula for converting from the MAP readings into Throttle % ? (as I have a base map using MAP)
