Xu10 Turbo Cambelt

Recommended Posts

I'll be changing the cambelt on the Turbo this weekend. I'll also be replacing the tensioner and water pump.

Any thoughts please on setting the cambelt tension?

My gut feeling would be to set it so you can just turn the belt through 90 degrees on its longest run.

Many thanks.

Jim, I have the Autodata for this, unfortunately it's an encrypted PDF, so cant copy and paste or email. :)

If I get time tonight or no one else has answered I'll copy out the relevant parts from it.
