TKH 0 Posted March 7, 2007 I believe there quite hard as standard. I have talked to john at GMC about this before and he appeared to think that for most cams the standard springs where fine. Unless your going insane on the spec I would just stick with the standard ones. Making the springs harder that needed will just loose you power and shorten the life of your components. This really depends on what spec camshaft you will be using. I know that KentCams do a set of double valve springs for the TU24 that some of the french guys have used my only issue with them is that they are designed for their cams that have a fairly moderate lift. Catcams also do uprated single springs for the TU24. I think they have two different types.
