Help Needed With Dizzy Cap And Rotor Arm

Recommended Posts

bitchass 205

Right, i went over a nasty speed bump a bit to fast :( and managed to bust my dizzy cap and rotor arm.

The arm is now in two pieces and the cap has two lovely holes in it. how this happened i don't know, but.

1) does anyone have a pic of what the mounting looks like for the rotor arm (1.6 8v) and:

2) should the arm and cap just be replaceable?

the engine is turning fine, i had to push the car around a bit so steering is ok, suspension ok, may need to do tracking but other than that i hope its just the bits mentioned.

Cheers

Michael

EDIT: does anyone have part numbers for:

Rotor arm:

Dizzy cap:

dizzy module:

yep, part number (second link) are good for the dizzy, also the rotor arm part number is on there too.

Main question is, does the rotor arm just push back on and the dizzy clip over or is it done another way?

Thats rite Michael, rotor arm should just push back onto the shaft, and then the dizzy cap clips over the top of it, or screws onto the top of it depending on what type of cap you have.
