Jrod 7 Posted March 6, 2007 Are these the ones they do a wider GT style? If so does that mean the actual bit where you sit is wider?
Pugnut 9 1 Cars Posted March 6, 2007 yes , as the title says its the wider gt ones i'm asking about . they are 50mm wider than standard
Jrod 7 Posted March 6, 2007 (edited) Ah yes If they are as big as monacos you will have no trouble fiting in them! Edited March 6, 2007 by Jrod
pip470 61 Posted March 6, 2007 Hi mate im a happy 16 stone and fit in these seats no probs, very comfy with the support either side of your waist. My only reservation is i havnt tried them with the harneses. But i think they will be fine.

Jrod 7 Posted March 7, 2007 Just curious, how much? Wouldn't mind a set of these myself...
Baz 421 Posted March 7, 2007 I have the std size and i'm not exactly large (32" ish waist) but they are fairly tight still, my old man's a fatty like you tho, () and he can't really get out of them once slotted in!! So would presume the extra 50mm would be perfect!
Mr_E 7 Posted March 7, 2007 I have got imolas for my car and have been using them for years. I use the standard width in the passenger side and I use the wider one for driving (just found the standard one a bit too narrow for driving) and i average inbetween 14 - 15 stone and im 6ft. I find these seats very comfortable thats why I have kept them for so long and swopped them from car to car. I did try monacos once - never again, I did one road rally with them as they came new in a car i bought so tried them and sold them after one road rally as they were far too hard and uncomforatable for my liking! Trick 1 Posted June 22, 2007 how are the cobras fitted in the 205? i was under the impression that all i would need is the Sidemounts - but now im being told i will either have to modify the existing subframe, or install some bars across and remove the subframe completely/ I just want an easy install

Baz 421 Posted June 26, 2007 You can mount the std size ones with normal side mounts, they need to be modified though, and one mount, maybe 2 turned round to account for the extra width needed.
