engine will fit :)

I've heard of front hubs being used (IIRC sandy is/will be using them on the 309 trio R?)

Axles wont fit without fabrication and are a bit too wide.

Seats are good, steering wheel has more Dish IIRC but I cant remember if the column is the same.

personally i'd use it as a runabout if its on the road, handle well and pretty economical.

whats having 6 pugs got to do with a citroen? and i dont want to put the engine into a 205? i was asking what fits a 205 so i no what to keep and what to chuck,

PS Thanks for the helpful info Welshpug :D i would of kept it if it had mot and tax but they have run out and little damage to the rear doors, so just gonna take the bits worth keeping then sell the rest :P

The trailing arms will fit the 205 beam, and give zero toe in and a degree of camber. Got a set on my MI currently.

TBH, it's all about opening both your eyes and your brain....

The fact that you have 6 pugs means you can quite easily compare parts.

If you have the ability to change engines, then you should also be reasonably technically minded, and can see opportunities....

As a great man once said....You can't educate Pork!!

That would explain why your posting a reply in something you no nothing about as none of your replys have been helpful at all, if you dont no the answer dont bother replying

the gearbox has same ratios as a gti IIRC, just different final drive which is interchangeable anyway, and its a be3 :D

If its not same rartios then the speedo drive and housing will be useable, brakes are worth putting on gti's, trailing arms and shocks, hubs and also worth riupping out all the relays and fuses as they are always useful to have in a box somewhere, as are bulbs etc.

Seat belts and stalks come in handy as well. AFAIK most the buttons for hazards and fogs etc will fit directly to gti looms.

Was speaking to Anthony about these last night as a mate has just bought one to break, the hubs as said, brakes etc, all the obvious's, shafts are slightly too long, even for 309 arms, rear beam arms we weren't so sure were the same as the 16v's?? -as iirc Taylor has on his (?) Would presume so, so worth keeping hold of.

As everyones already said, engine/box/brakes are the main bits u might wanna keep. if its abs itll be worth ripping the shafts n sensers if u can out.

Won't it be too long? Being the same length as 306 ones.
