Fuel Leakage

ok its a 1360 205 xs. when filling up the under the rear seats is becoming a small puddle , its not coming from the to covers which lead to the fuel tank. I will get some pics up of the mess, Any ideas though in the mean time ?

if its lowered the whell could have rubbed through the filler neck?

the overflow pipe could be directed wrong?

 

you may have used the window to fill up instead of the filler neck

 

avoid smoking at all cost

I cant see how fuel can get in the car from there, all the pipe work is external.

 

Are you sure that it is petrol?

yup definatly petrol, nope the cars not lowered yet, i cant work it out either ,

if you're sure it's not leaking from the fuel pump/gauge sender seals, i guess you'd have to take the tank/filler pipes off to check them over

check the braided hose coming off the tank maybe it got a hole in it, have you took the covers off and looked at the top of the tank??

yea looked at the top of the tank and that, i think what im going to do is get somebody sat in teh back next time i fill up to see if they can work it out
