Box Change

Well after the good box discussions a while ago and the extra research I did, i've taken the opportunity (while the engine is out for rebuild) to make a box change. Out goes the rebuilt 1.6 box with KAAZ LSD. I must say I was really happy with the KAAZ, I think they offer fantastic value for money. In comes a Miles' rebuilt 1.9 box with mi16 FD and Tran-x LSD (45deg ramp angles). It also comes with a conversion to rose joints.

I'm taking it up to des-d next week, so I need to get cracking giving it a clean and a paint...

Should give is some additional acceleration :(

Gave it a spray with some cans I have lying about to tidy it up..

Good call, tran-X's are good, but 30/60 ramping woudl be more suitable for a pure track machine, get the spare drive shafts on standby though :ph34r:

 

and 1.9 on Mi final is a good budget option, look forward to seeing it out on track
