Copper Grease And Gasket Question

a realy daft question but am i ok to use copper grease on the engine mount bolts and manifold studs etc, just incase it goes hard or somthing daft happens when it gets hot :S (like i said a daft question)

 

and seccondly in the engine/head gasket kit i didnt get a gasket for the thermostat housing (1.9 16v ally) does anyone have one or know where i can get one

I used copper grease there too, so I'd be interested to know! I got my thermostat housing gasket from Pug - they come in a pack of two for about a fiver - I have a spare one but it is for a 1.6. You're welcome to have it but I've no idea if they're the same shape or not (I presume not...) :)

ahh so i take it it will be the same for the big m10 / m12s that hold the engine mounts to the engine then and the rear stabalizing mount,

 

anyone know an alternative anti sieze lubes i could use??

Sure is, you will get it at any motor factors, including Halfords. :)

RTV = room temperature vulcanizing... Good stuff, but stinks to high heaven :D
