shings 0 Posted February 27, 2007 Evening peeps.. Right ho.. my car has a 1.9 oil cooler and take off plumbed into the Mi16 engine. Obviously the cooler is a bit small??? for my intended track use. Is it possible to fit another BIGGER oil cooler to it the existing piping? If not does anyone know the the sizes of the existing piping so I could maybe get extension pipes made up with the standard GTi ends and new oil cooler ends? If not... I have seen on ebay the Oil coolers with new mocals for £114.99 plus P+P but I am concerned as the pipes are rubber and not braided aero quip style lines. What do people recommend? Duroc 2 1 Cars Posted March 4, 2007 You can buy installation kits from Rally Design, which have stainless pipes. Also the sandwich plate can include a thermostat, so the oil heats up quicker after first starting the engine. http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/index...ath=340_341_357
