I'm no expert but I remember an article (pinned I think) on the main site about a VAG TB being mod'd quite easily to fit an Mi engine. However the conclusion was that it was just an engineering exercise and that the benefits were limited, if in fact even worth the effort. In terms of benefits offered, in theory the VAG mod offered around 30-40% more butterfly size and potential entry of air but it didn't really amount to much in practice, which is a shame coz it seemed a simple, logical mod.
