Guest Tom Dimma Posted February 22, 2007 does anyone no where this is on a tu3s engine? thanks
swordfish210 20 Posted February 22, 2007 take the top cam cover off and you will see a hole in the pully, insert a 10m bolt in to this and turn the engine over untiol the bolt slots in to a hole. The you should see a hole in the engine block just above the engine number plate, insert a 6mm bolt in here and it should slot in to a hole in the flywheel. this will be the engine timed up at Number 1 cylinder at TDC

djinuk 2 Posted February 22, 2007 (edited) Just following on from this how do you time this engine, ive timed mini engines before where u turn the dizzy cap until correct and via a strobe light. Just trying to learn cheers Edited February 22, 2007 by djinuk
swordfish210 20 Posted February 22, 2007 yes i think these engines can be timed with a timing light, but when i do mine i just line the engine up with these holes and then whip the dizzy off to see if it is at number 1 firing. if it is then the engine is timed up correctly
