Oil Filer/breather When Using Carbs

Recommended Posts

iv done a search and come up with nothing definative :)

am i coprrect in thinking when i fit R1 carbs (or any other sort) all you have to do is fit a breather filter thingy to the filler cap? its the genral idea i get when looking at the search results,

also if i replace all the crap rubber filler breather pipes with alloy ones, this shouldnt cause any problems should it?

ohh aye its an mi16 ally block

cheers

Paul

you need to fit a catch tank with a breather filter. Just sticking a filter on will soon clog up with oil and be useless. Alloy pipes wont do it any harm either, plus they are easier to clean out if needed later on :)
