I Got Xud9 Can I Fit It To Tu Car Or Other?

Recommended Posts

Nearly bought car 1.0 XE and then realised about the engine.

Are there engine mounts for XU engines to be fitted instead of TU or other types?

what year is the car. As long as you have the engine with the upper mount on the inner wing you can fit the xu drivetrain easily.

Do you need any xu bits as I am only down the road

i am just looking for 205 to convert it to what i want.

and there are various types 1.0 xe 1990, XS 1.4 rallye.

I just don't want to buy it and then not to be able to do that. I got 2 1.9 td - XUD9 engines and they are just perfect for what i want so i need to fit in that 205.

or another question would be can I fit it into 106? or am i pushing too much now?

Like batfink said.

You can also fit a diesel subframe without going to the whole xu drivetrain. The gearshift mount is different and the lower engine mount might be too?

It probably wise to fit the diesel antiroll bar and bushes too - it is much thicker than the TU petrol ones.
