Replacing Brake Lines

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of what parts I'd need to replace my rear brake lines from the M/C backwards? I'm mainly interested in the unions.

Someone was on about this recently. I'm sure it was M10 threads all round except for one side of 1.9 rear compensators that need M12 threads.

Sounds about right from when i was working on my brakes the other week, and the compensators i've got to fit are different sizes either end.

it all depends how may of the unions you retain, or what setup you go for in terms of copper pipe vs briaded hose. When I did gav's in braided hose, I didn't use all the unions. For example the fronts were just hose from M/C to caliper.

Sounds like the 405 compensator. Its all in one big block, 2 unions are the standard size (M10, as you say) and 2 were bigger, so guessing they are M12 too. Do they sell these M12 ones at normal motor factors, or are they hard to get hold of?

Shouldn't be a problem. I got one from my local Motaquip easy enough.
