Simes 248 2 Cars Posted February 13, 2007 Does anyone have a comprehensive list of what parts I'd need to replace my rear brake lines from the M/C backwards? I'm mainly interested in the unions.
sonofsam 5 Posted February 13, 2007 The lengths are listed in this topic http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?s...38&hl=brake Sorry, cant help with union sizes, but im sure I have seen them listed before
Guest smokinslim Posted February 13, 2007 Someone was on about this recently. I'm sure it was M10 threads all round except for one side of 1.9 rear compensators that need M12 threads. Sounds about right from when i was working on my brakes the other week, and the compensators i've got to fit are different sizes either end.
smckeown 1 Posted February 13, 2007 it all depends how may of the unions you retain, or what setup you go for in terms of copper pipe vs briaded hose. When I did gav's in braided hose, I didn't use all the unions. For example the fronts were just hose from M/C to caliper.

Its all in one big block, 2 unions are the standard size (M10, as you say) and 2 were bigger, so guessing they are M12 too. Do they sell these M12 ones at normal motor factors, or are they hard to get hold of?
Duroc 2 1 Cars Posted February 17, 2007 Do they sell these M12 ones at normal motor factors, or are they hard to get hold of? Shouldn't be a problem. I got one from my local Motaquip easy enough.
