s16 Peggy 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Does anyone know where I will be able to locate an oil cooler kit for the 306 S16? I have seen a few listed for the 205, MI16 etc but not the S16. welshpug 1,677 Posted February 6, 2007 you need a sandwitch plate (SP1D) an installation kit, either a straight set of rubber or stainless braided hoses, or a kit with an oilstat. 205 kit with oilstat is part number (OC11828ST) not sure if that would have long enough hoses though shown here - http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/produ...roducts_id=2170 oilstats on their own - http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=340_528 give them a call, they may actually do a kit for the S16 but not list it on the web, or if not theyll be able to make one up from individual parts. Thanks for the help. I will have a look at my setup tomorrow and work out the best place to mount it, then measure what hoses I will need. Miles 331 1 Cars Posted February 7, 2007 The other thing you'll need is a new hollow bolt or thread hollow into the block so you can bolt the above on (Joy's of Iron blocks) that holds the sandwich plate on as the std one is too long due to the heat exchanger that's fitted to them, The pipes can be made at a local pipe company.
