Perfect Power Megaspark Ignition Amp

right then Ive narowed my problems down in my other topic http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=70286 to be the ignition amp, now i remembered earlier I have one of these laying around under the bed from when I bought a smt6 ecu for my rover turbo last year, now would this ignition amp be any good for the Mi seeing as the Mi is built to rev past 6k Im pressuming this is putting a mega strain on original amp and coil and I might be better off using the megaspark instead. details on the amp are here http://www.perfectpower.com/products/mega_spark.asp

Just a decent working standard one will be fine, no need for anything fancy.
