yeti-dj 7 Posted February 4, 2007 sorry for being daft but have just fitted the mi16 loom into my 205, all went well but have come across 2 wires at the ecu end (15 and 15b) that apprently fit to the "injection coding resistor". was just wondering what on earth this is, never heard of one before. thanks,
Sandy 191 Posted February 4, 2007 Ignore them, they are for different fuel grades I believe and aren't needed to be connected.
Ryan 99 Posted February 4, 2007 They supposedly tell the ECU to adjust the fueling and timing for differnt fuels. Leave it unconnected and everything will be fine. I've got one fitted to mine, but the car runs exactly the same with or without it so I've no idea what it actually does, if anything. The pug dealer gave me blank looks when I asked, and the citroen dealer is still waiting to hear back from Citroen head office...
