Spiky 37 Posted February 3, 2007 ok i've been reading through and my tick over is at 2k when warm, it's actaull 1k when cold then rises as the temp rises i did thios test today on my SAD The way you tested the SAD valve sounded odd to me The right testing procedure consists in taking it off the car, and applying 12V to the pins (red connector is 12V, blue one is GND). It should close completely after 5 minutes. and low and be hold it dont close can i just block both ends and run with out a sad??? that is until i get my FORD air auxillary device in it's place Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Spiky 37 Posted February 3, 2007 cheers for the suggestions..lol well i did it anyhow, blocked off the two pipe ends and hay presto the car is MUCH nice to drive, albeit from very cold it wont quite tick over , but once up to normal temp it purs at just under 1000k just need it setup and roll on the rest of the project Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
