Any Info On Iw054 Injectors From A 306 Xsi 8v

Recommended Posts

Malachy

hi i am about to start manufacturing a new inlet manifold for my 16v turbo project, and have come across a small problem related to this.

i need to ideally find out the flow rate of a set of injectors i have as i plan to run an 8 injector setup (small injectors for below 100kpa for ease of tuning idle and emissions and then larger 360cc injectors will kick in to help out above 100kpa) and this makes for far easier tuning than a set of 550cc injectors struggling to get a smooth idle.

the problem i have is that i have a set of injectors from my old 306 xsi engine this produces 123bhp factory so i am guessing these should be great to do the low off boost fuel requirement but i cannot find any info on them anywhere.

i would guess they are somewhere in the 200cc/min to 220cc/min area for flow but was wondering if anyone can clarify this? or give me a more definate accurate figure

The injectors are Magnetti marelli and are marked with the model code of IW-054

it seems they came in all the 2.0i 8v Cat models so thats the 406/xantia/late 405

any help appreciated.

Regards

Andy
