ha ha loved the astra "reaching into his backpocket of talent"

The teg had great poise and speed in the corners

The CSL with slicks was certainly faster through most corners but he suffered from big car syndrome and wouldnt back off. Certainly didnt know the corners as well and kept on loosing a lot of speed. Has the potential to be very fast if he can keep heat in those tyres.

Liked the last session footage with the other 205 desperately trying to keep up, some great slides

'and finding it empty'- absolute classic quote

the csl was pushed to the point of running wide at a bend - great driving spiky

in reality i had very little chance of keeping up with spiky, his set up makes it so much more composed on track- got a loooong shopping list now

In video bedford 09 Session 6,

Was that you in the green 205 ( automatic by the looks of your bonnet  ) trying to keep up with Spiky?

By the looks of it lack of LSD was your biggest problem and to much weight.

You must have a big set of b*lls, sliding a 205 like that...

Very smooth driving Spikey, I suppose you did not go "maximum attack".

all my youtube videos i have ever done are using a old cam camcorder, i really want some bullet cam's to film front and rear at the same time

but it jsut cant afford them at the moment

i use a nice roll cage mount from fast films.co.uk so can put the camera anywhere

sadly on this track day i didnt setup the camera properly

where is zolder?

yep that was me in the green one

lsd would have made a big difference, dont think the car weighs much more than spikys (although i certainly do pmsl)- will have to ask the mrs about the b*lls though

spikys driving is always smooth and consistent resulting in very quick laps

I was happily watching the videos, and though the track looks familiar.

I was there a couple of years ago flying around in a JP1

taken the old engine loom and inlet off

will give it a quick clean next week and then put the new inlet on :)

not sure whether to get the PTFE inlet gasket on yet?

new ecu loom is already made and will be coming in just over a week, well after pay day ... :lol

Who's doing the loom Spiky?

Are you getting a DTA ECU as per the group buy?

I am thinking of changing my management as my loom is a 306/205 bodge, which looks a mess.

Do you need to do anything special to make the DTA S40 to work as it will only read 2 coils as opposed to 4 coils on the S60?

i bought loom off sandy :) (hope he dont mind me saying)

i will e getting S40 ecu hopefully via group buy, if that dont go ahead i will just pay full price :(

as the s40 dont do individual coils, i will run a coil pack and HT leads :) on a wasted spark operation

cant wait really, will have close loop, so fuel economy will be nice on the way to track days :(
