took the front suspension off this week, to fit my new springs

removed my 9" 185lbs springs and fitted my new 300lb 7" springs

lube'd up my tubes with vaseline too :D and all the rose joints

fitted my new adjustable track control arms too, so just needs setting up now,

next track day is croft RS day so got a while to sort the suspension settings out

probably going to set it up for around 1.5 - 1.8 negative camber :D

Did you find the cause of a clunk you mentioned somewhere in the front end?

you've chosen wet slicks over something like the Yoko Ao48's???

if you intend to run these in the dry make sure you speak to Dunlop about opporating temps as they will be at risk of overheating and deteriorating at a fast rate

We used to run these tyres on the Radicals in the Dunlop Great and British champoinship. They'd do a 25 min race in the dry without too much of a problem, but they're heavy and nowhere near as grippy as the equivalant Avon wets.

Pretty much yeah! Just got it back today from MOT, it now brakes! Runs well, just to fit the BBM kit and it should be ready for the roads. Just need clean out the stepper motor tomorrow, was stalling tonight on the way back at low revs.

Due to the lack of work in the building trade at the mo, it'll be sometime before I insure it :-/ Gives me more time to work on her though, which is good while i'm off work.

Is the door holding together where you've cut below the glass? Most stripped out doors I've seen still have the ~10mm strip with the spot welds left on and it looks like you've cut them off.

have you driven it in anger at that ride height? how does it feel? you can't have an awful lot of travel left with the bilstein coilovers that low.

mine would be on the stops at that ride height.

yeah i may have trimmed it a bit to much, but should be ok, i'm only going to add a few tack welds near the hinge area :)

they car did 2 full days at croft like that, seems fine :D

Whats with the 2 boxes? I have a straight through pipe to a single Grp N OMP back box and its about 97db, 2 boxes=more weight!
