[trackday_prep] My 205 GTI-6 Supercharged Track Car

Recommended Posts

Daxed

Is the fan mounted directly to the radiator face using the plastic fixings (similar to cable ties)? - Don't know what others experience of these is, but I mounted a fan using the supplied fixings and over the period of a few months the vibration of the fan in use caused it to wear it's way through a water channel and hole the rad.

Ended up fabricating some proper mounts.

Make sure you cusion the battery, if it's a small red top racing gell type they don't like a lot of vibration, so pack the underneathe with some foam or similar.

Looking good!

Which clio is the smaller filter from?

I would have thought its one of the 1.8 16v ones, R19 16v too. Thats what I use.

Keep going Spiky, you are very good as a development mule! We are going to end up with nigh on identical cars soon, that is when I have copied all of your ideas :D
