Nice car and build.

Is the box under the steering column a video processor? If so what model is it and do you get on with it well (worth getting?).

What's the price if you don't mind me asking? I run a modded gti6 205 and its very loud especially at 8000rpm. Want to start few more track days and worried about noise limits. Thanks Dave.

prospeed said their tester isnt calibrated(his words not mine), so not taking thier figures , and it's 6DB quieter than when he tested the std

though he has said, if it's too loud he will sort it :D, nice bloke :D

did you have the white ones? will ask my mate :)

yeah they were white :)

how many Db did they say?

If you have a reference reading from previous track visits for the old system, so as long as its lower than those by enough you'll be just fine :D

when is it out next?

the car is taxed again now, so took it out for a little blast, definiatly sounds quieter now, so thats a good thing :)

afr gauge is looking a little lean to me , so not sure if its the gauge or the map as now it has a 2.5" exhaust

aft was looking around 12.9 from 5500 or onwards, below that it's 12.5

certainly picks up better and pulls well, stack dash now has a peak of 142 and was still pulling (private road test)

I feel your pain on exhaust noise, I'm having issues with the local police at the moment as they want it under 90db. I'm having a 3rd box fitted tomorrow.

On tick over and potting around its silent, it's only higher up the rev range and the fact it has a supercharger that's hurting me, but it's much better now :)

Tool the car ti combe last saturday for a sound test

At 4500 rev's it was 87dB....... Result

Oddly with the 3rd box on it was 88dB ar 4500

Was getting fed up of untidy dash , so put it back as it was before

Possibly get it all flocked later

The silver section at the bottom i will wrap soon

I take it you mean 30 minutes toe out c.3mm not 30 Degrees, would have thought 1.6-2mm would be sufficient, as it may start to pull left and right under power with too much toe out, did when mine had 3-4mm, that was with a quaife diff.

Isn't 30 minutes about 1mm?

1 degree is 60 arcminutes.

15" is 381mm

one degree is: 381mm*(tan 1deg)=2.11mm

So 1mm= 0deg+28minutes

Yeah first proper one and my camber guess was bang on lol

I can never get toe right

Drives straight with ease, before it didn't feel right

See how the track day goes
