Guest CraigyBoy Posted February 1, 2007 Hi guys, I have recently (nearly) finished a 205 Mi16 engine rebuild and conversion. The only part i still require is the knock sensor. There were only two types listed in the intermotor catalogue. The one for pug is also listed for vauhall, volvo, porsche but at £50 i thought i would try second hand. Can anyone tell me the make and part number that should be on it so maybe i can get one from a scrappy. Does anyone know if all original pug ones are the same? Then i could get one off any pug engine. My car is running BX loom and 3-row ecu but hits the limiter about 6500rpm, could this be due to the lack of knock sensor? Its not especially quick either, it was a dead heat with a zafira vxr ther other day from 30 -100mph Cheers for any help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest CraigyBoy Posted February 3, 2007 Ok I've found the Bosch part number, it's 0261231006, does anyone have one? I just missed one on ebay, it came with the long stud and spacer to fit it directly to the main bearing cap as well. How frustrating!
