jerseypug 1 Posted January 29, 2007 i am going to do a multi surface rally that will be quite rough, i want the car as heigh as possible but am worried about going too heigh and straining the drive shafts. anyone know what a safe height would be? i am leaving the rear at standard height and have gaz coilovers at the front with 14 inch springs. bren_1.3 1 Posted January 30, 2007 standard ride height is perfectly reasonable. unless your doing the acopolis rally that is?
jerseypug 1 Posted June 11, 2007 just pushed the sump guard through the sump after hitting a bump in a quarry. i would like to raise it about 50mm above standard but would like to know if anyone has had any problems with driveshaft angles after going to that sort of height. Jrod 7 Posted June 11, 2007 We just finished the midsummer endurance rally this weekend, It was VERY bumpy but standard ride height was still fine. Alot of cars were ripping off bumpers including our own rear. and a picture of us on the go kart track in the daytime tests.

Have you thought about changing the springs? what have you got on already ? I find std height too low for most whites hence i use this height , have had no problems with this set up http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v714/cbg...5carpics018.jpg

Bit surprising really. Was the go kart track fun?
Jrod 7 Posted June 20, 2007 (edited) The whole event was no helmets as parts of it are on the road. (top ones not us but was on same rally) The kart track was awesome but alot of people didn't like it saying it was to short.
