Guest justinhincks87 Posted January 29, 2007 Hi i have just got my injectors to work again. but now there is spark and fuel but the car still doesnt want to go!. it has been standin for about 6 months with about 2 litres of fuel left in it. does any 1 have any ideas and could some1 also tell me what lead goes to where from the dizzy to the plugs please! steve@cornwall 100 Posted January 31, 2007 any ideas? If it's stood for a few months, have you cleaned up all ignition connections, and particularly the contacts in the dizzy cap and the rotor arm? Could be causing a weak spark, that just ain't enough under compression! If checking the spark with a plug out of the engine, is the spark a good strong blue with a nice "crack' sound, or a dim orange effort? Also cleaned the plugs themselves?
