There are refurb kits that are cheaper than buying the whole distributor

So did the one I flogged you not work then? It was fine before I took it off my old J reg (as I said before). If it was just due to the wiring being a bit iffy, maybe get an auto electrician to repair it.

 

Don't forget, I did offer you a refund, and the offer still stands :D

unfortunatly no, there was play in the dizzy and the wiring wasnt no good either, though that's an easy fix :D

 

thank you for the offer, but it was only £10, so not worried, but really appreciate the offer of a refund.

 

it's currently sat in my dinning room floor :)

Polish it up and make a nice paper weight out of it :)

 

Just out of interest, what do you mean there was play in it? I don't really know much about distributors so just wondering.

lol...good idea :)

 

 

on the play front, i really dont know, i'm almost in the same boat as you, but it's my friends garage and trust them 100%, i have no reason to not belive his advice

 

they've had my car 2 weeks, and i only got charge 30 labour too :D
