Well I've fitted 2 OMP cages now ,1 to a 106 and the other to my Ax,,,I would say that they are easy enough to fit. You get all the plates to weld to the floor along with a bag of bolts the bolt it together. The door bars usually come part made which allows you to decide how high and at what angle you'd like them. Cut them to size and weld the end on to it then weld the fixing brackets to the cage and bolt it on and that allows them to be removed just like the rear diagonal(very handy to gain access to under the dash !). The only extra things you'll need is bolts and washers to fix it to the car. I'd advise drilling out the 9mm holes on the fixing feet to 10mm and use 10mm bolts, the Blue book says to use 8mm @8.8 min spec,,,,10mm will be far safer !

I bought a Sparco one for my on-going saxo project but I'm not as impressed with the extra work involved with fitting it !

,,,,I'd say you'll be ok with the OMP one

I have a few omp ones and although they are supposedly made to fit i had to cut an inch out of two of them as they were too tall on the legs behind the seats.

when i contacted omp they said it was impossible but shut up when i offered to send them the bits i cut out!!

They were both a nightmare to fit ,but if they were the correct size then i reckon it would have been easier!

I also have a sparco one fitted in my Mi and it fits like a glove,no trouble at all!!

cheers

Liam

My OMP cage fit well but the floor mounts were terrible! needed lots cutting off to make them fit.
