SimonJ 2 Posted January 22, 2007 About to change the engine and remember the last time I did this (many years ago) the offside shaft split at the bearing carrier and I didn't get it put back together again - ended up exchanging it for a new one. C_W 3 1 Cars Posted January 22, 2007 Basically make sure the 2 11mm nuts are undone, pushed through and turned 180degrees, then hit the shaft outwards from the behind the engine mount. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
