Window Stuck Open

Hi All,

Having great fun at the moment trying to work out how to solve this problem with my limited technical knowledge.

The passenger window is stuck open. I can hear the motor working if I press the button down, but there is nothing if I press it to go up. I've established that it isn't a faulty switch and have stripped the door card out to get a better look, however the haynes manual is pretty non-discript about how to get to sovle any indow related problems.

Is this a common problem or has anyone experienced it before? Any help gladly apprciated!

Take a look at the black plastic ends of the motors, where the handles would be on manual windows. There are 2 distinct "circles" If the outer one moves without moving the inner, screw in a small self-tapper between the 2 as it sounds like the fine teeth may have stripped
