joni 0 Posted January 19, 2007 (edited) Can anyone offer any tips on how best to re-wire my headlights in order to get optimum performance from them and so that htey can cope with 160/90Watt bulbs? I assume i'll need to fit relays? Will i need 2 relays? Any tips on where to get new 'spades' which fit into the plastic holder which means you can push all 3 wires onto the headlight bulb at once? I posted the same query as this the other day. Most of the information is in the replies although personally I'm still not 100% sure I know what to do

joni 0 Posted January 22, 2007 Just bought my bits and bobs for the rewire. Managed to get a little kit for h4 bulbs which includes 3 spades and a plastic holder for £1.70 each set. Going to have both dipped beams on one relay and a relay each side for main beam. Each wire will have an inline 20Amp fuse which should be plenty. Bought a new earth strap for engine to shell to try and help things out a bit more too. Going to run a fresh live to the reverse light.
