Jrod 7 Posted January 17, 2007 I'm looking at a piper 285 cam, He's told me that it's a standard cam that has been reground. Is there anyway to tell if this is right? Will it of been stamped etc? Also what do peole think of this cam, is it reasonable for road use?
axnutty 10 Posted January 17, 2007 If its a regrind I always thought they had a little "r" stamped into the end. Should also have a blue painted ring round it as well if its a Piper IIRC.

macaroni 17 1 Cars Posted January 19, 2007 How much is being charged for it? Sounds a little too uncertain for me.
