Yes. Sometimes. Slightly bigger than a standard one. No.

IF anything, looses power, unless you have a modified head which is making it run lean at high revs.

Speaking to some guy at the Loton Park Hillclimb today with a 205. He had one fitted, took his car to Skip Brown who promptly threw it away saying it was a waste of time. I'd agree. Save your money.

had one , no increase in power but it did make the car idle a bit better and throttle response was good giving the illusion of more power .

they DO need to be adjusted correctly . otherwise they are no use . if they are set up correctly they are of little use !!

I tried one on mine for a while and imagined it gave better throttle response and a steadier idle as Pugnut says, but I wasn't confident I'd set it up right and took it off again.

To set it up correctly you need a fuel pressure gauge capable of measuring up to and above 45 psi, which is the standard fuel pressure. When you have it set to standard you could then start to increase it and see if there are improvements.

one was fitted on my last car and was setup wrongly resulting in a 14bhp loss of power. Seems the general consensus is that they are only worth it for highly modded engines.
