justinv 4 1 Cars Posted January 10, 2007 Hi, we are converting a 1.4 xs to a 1.6 gti besides the rear mudguards, engine loom, suspension, are there any other major changes ? > Are the front and rear bumpers the same ?
TurboSam 5 Posted January 10, 2007 Front bumpers are the same, rears are different.
justinv 4 1 Cars Posted January 11, 2007 Is it just the bumper that it isnt d same or even the valance ?
Ren 0 Posted January 11, 2007 I'm not 100% but i would have thought it would be just the bumper as it won't have the holes in the side for the rear arch trim to connect through. The valance should be the same. Can anyone confirm this? Ren
t16ryan 1 Posted January 11, 2007 rear valance is different to a GTi and as said its just the hole in the bumper for the arch trim thats different IIRC
