Ahl 4 Posted January 11, 2007 As said before, you can retrack them. Its fairly easy and might be all thats required. No harm done if its fooked already. Have a look at this topic: http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?showtopic=18898 All you do is: Carefully prize off the cover. You'll see the sweeping arm and the resistive track it runs on - chances are this track has a deep grove worn into it. You want to adjust the arm so that it sweeps on a fresh piece of track. Do this by: a) bending the arm moving the arm up or down (a small bolt holds it on) or c) unscrewing and moving the circuit board and thats it! Silicon seal the cover back on, check all the contacts and give it a clean inside. Some sealer gives off acidic fumes btw, but whether this is much of an issue I don't know.
