Where Is Fuel Relay!

can any 1 help me out. i do not have fuel coming through. what could it be down to. i know about the fuel relay but i dont know where it would be situated on the car can any 1 help please

Mine is located under the dash, drivers side, near the ecu. (88 1.6 CTI)

Justin, have you checked your getting 12 v+ @ the fuel pump and to test if the pump runs, you can apply 12 volts to live on the terminal and you should be able to hear it spin up.

 

also worth tracing the fuel pump wire back to fusebox in the glovebox to see what siganl you are getting with a multi-meter, and check the earth, think its by the rear passenger side light in the boot.

 

Alternatively, disconnet the power to the starter motor solenoid, then you should be able to hear the pump fire up without the noise of a cranking engine.

 

I dont have a tachymetric relay anymore, but still had a few non starts a while back, was totally untraceable ;) so pump is now hard wired into the ignition and has been fine ever since, probably not the safest, but i have an inertia switch and the live feed to the pump is fused now.
