vern 0 Posted January 1, 2007 On the TT conversion the hose from the bottom of expansion tank to the distritribution block, is cut and metal pipe used. does any one have any info on the metal pipe pictures, dimensions etc?.
Guest rick03054 Posted January 1, 2007 Whatever diameter that will let you seal both ends, and it's about the length of the head IIRC. It's only there to stop the heat from the turbo damaging the rubber hose AFAIK. There are a couple of brackets attached to it so it can be screwed to the holes in the head. Mad Professor 7 Posted January 2, 2007 This is the only pic I could find that you could see any of the pipe. Hope this helps.
nickpug309tt 0 Posted January 2, 2007 This is the only pic I could find that you could see any of the pipe. Hope this helps. On my old tt conversion I got rid of that pipe and just ran it down to the subframe and along. I didn't like the idea of running a hot water pipe next to the air in-take. Also after putting the GT28R on there was no room
