Omex Rev Limiter

i have fitted an omex rev limiter with launch control and the launch control bit works fine but the limiter comes in all over the place anywhere from 5k,5.5k, to 7k. i spoke to martin at omex and he reakons there is a fault with the plugs , ht leads or coil wiring as he thinks the rev limiter is seeing an extra spark somewhere and counting it as a proper spark and thinking the engine is going faster than it is any idea how i can check the coil wiring the plug leads and plugs seem fine. oh and when you disconnnect it the car runs fine all the way to 7k

my HT leads where firing between them selfs, It made the car have problems starting and generaly running like a dog. I only found the cause of the problem when i fired her up and looked in the dark. In the day light you couldnt see it, but in the dark it was like a disco

 

Id do the same have a look under the bonnet you might easily be able to see it in the dark.

 

However i would have thought the car would not be running fine
