Edd-XS 0 Posted December 28, 2006 Simple question, is it? lol Havent MOTed my car for about two years and replaced the rack after last MOT but boot was split, so I put another boot over the top and cable tied it all up. Alastairh 47 Posted December 28, 2006 A split boot is yeah. I had one go on my old 1.9. Fairly easy to do. Remove track rod end (make note of threads) cut the old one off. Put the new one in boiling water, and make it go on Alastair Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
