r.u.sure 0 Posted December 26, 2006 Hi Hope everyone had a good christmas. I know I'm probably answering a bit of this myself. I'm just trying to fit new rear disks and pads on my 1.9 and have noticed that the rubber that covers the piston has a hole in it (nothing ever goes right ) Without trying to appear dense I assume that this will now need changing, would this be something I can take on myself or will it need to be a garage job. Thanks in advance Dave
welshpug 1,662 Posted December 26, 2006 easy peasy job, seeing as youre competent eough to be able to change the pads yourself a good guide on stripping them down is in a 309 workshop manual (oddly this section was missed out in the 205 manual??!) the caliper is used on many a PSA and renault product to name a few so getting spares wont be a problem at all.
