Guest powerslider Posted December 15, 2006 Hi guys, i have a 205 gti 1.6 1989 f reg. When driving the car and only after the car has warmed up am i getting a grumbling noise from the front end. This noise goes off when i turn the wheel to the right even slightly, Could this be a cv? wheel bearing? drive shaft? The noise is still there when the car is taken out of gear and allowed to free wheel Any help would be wonderful Regards Paul Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ahl 4 Posted December 15, 2006 This might be far too simple a suggestion, but check that your right wheel isn't rubbing on anything inside the wheel arch! (Along with checking for anything else physical) It sounds like it could be a CV joint, but its hard to pinpoint really.
